About
Selina Satterlee
Shell necklaces and bracelets from Kauaʻi's north shore — gathered on foot, strung by hand.
Selina was raised minutes from the shore where she still walks — between Hāʻena and Hanalei, in the rhythm of the tide. Her pieces center on kahelelani and momi, with kāmoa for contrast when the design calls for it.
Work is slow: shells sorted, pierced, and strung in patterns rooted in Hawaiian lei making. Nothing living is taken from the reef.
